MK 17 RESTORATION.
Here's the engine as we received it from our friend Razvan from Blenheim.
Engine has a broken crankshaft and requires new bearings and a rebore.

First step is, as usual, to dismantle the engine and give it a jolly good clean.
Here's the engine dismantled and ready for a bath.

Next step, clean everything up and make the new crankshaft.
Here's the crankcase all cleaned up and ready for the new crankshaft and bearings.

And the anodized parts are also all sorted and ready for reassembly.

Back plate is now all cleaned, oiled and ready to go back onto the engine once the crank and other internals are sorted.

Now we'll get on to making the new crankshaft.
