BANSHEE RACING ENGINE RESTORATION

Here is the engine as it was received from our good mate Adrian Duncan.

here he is all dismantled and ready for inspection.

Thankfully he's in not too bad a shape needing only a good clean and a rebore.

Next step clean all the parts and reassemble the bottom end.

Here we have the cylinder liner ready for refurbishment, rather rusty so I think we'll take care of that as well.

Well a quick sand blast should clean that up nicely.

And here it is all nicely lapped and ready for the new piston to be fitted.

Next step is to repaint the liner with a nice hammered silver enamel paint.

Now we'll move onto the new piston.

Here's the new piston all finished and ready to assemble to the engine.

And assembled to the rest o the engine.

Next is clean and reassemble the cylinder liner to the rest.

Now all we need is to sort out the spark test running stand.
